We offers a six-year curriculum. A required one-year clinical internship in one of the fifteen affiliated hospitals comes after five years of theoretical and practical preclinical/clinical study.
Curriculum Breakdown by YearYear 1: Basic science, basic medical sciences, and Mandarin language instruction.
Preclinical classes covering anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and biochemistry are taught in years two and three.
Years 4-5: Internal, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and traditional Chinese treatments are all covered in clinical coursework.
Year 6: Practical clinical internship in affiliated hospitals to gain skills in diagnosis and treatment.
