Why Choose HUTCM?
HUTCM offers a six-year MBBS clinical medicine curriculum. A required one-year clinical internship in one of the university’s fifteen affiliated hospitals comes after five years of theoretical and practical preclinical/clinical study.
Curriculum Breakdown by YearYear 1: Basic science, basic medical sciences, and Mandarin language instruction.
Preclinical medicine classes covering anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and biochemistry are taught in years two and three.
Years 4-5: Internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatments are all covered in clinical coursework.
Year 6: Practical clinical internship in affiliated hospitals to gain skills in diagnosis and treatment.
Worldwide Accreditations
The World Health Organization (WHO), WDOMS, PM&DC, ECFMG, WCAME, and WFME have all approved and registered the Clinical Medicine degree, making it globally recognized.

International students can apply for medical licensure exams overseas after finishing six years of medical education at Hunan University of Chinese Medicine and earning a Clinical Medicine degree.
