On the morning of September 11, the school held a Party Committee (expanded) meeting to comprehensively summarize the school’s party discipline study and education, and to deploy the next step of work around consolidating and deepening the results of party discipline study and education. Party Secretary Dai Aiguo presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. President Yi Gangqiang conveyed and studied General Secretary Xi Jinping’s recent important instructions on party discipline study and education and the spirit of the Central and Provincial Party Committee Party Building Leading Group Meeting. Deputy Party Secretary Tang Wensheng summarized the school’s party discipline study and education. Members of the school’s Party Committee leadership team, secretaries of each second-level party organization, and heads of relevant party affairs departments attended the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that carrying out party discipline learning and education throughout the party is a major deployment made by the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, and is an important measure to strengthen the party’s discipline construction and promote the comprehensive and strict governance of the party to a deeper level. Since the launch of party discipline learning and education, the school party committee has resolutely implemented the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the work requirements of the provincial party committee, scientifically and systematically planned, carefully organized and implemented, tightened responsibilities, strengthened research and guidance, and coordinated the original learning, warning education, interpretation and training, firmly promoted the party discipline learning and education into the mind, and went deep and practical, and achieved a series of positive results, further enhanced the consciousness of party members and cadres in the school to learn, know, understand and abide by the discipline, stimulated the motivation to do things, improved the performance of duties, cultivated integrity, and achieved the expected purpose.

The meeting emphasized that discipline education is a basic and regular work to implement the requirements of comprehensive and strict governance of the Party and strengthen the Party’s discipline construction, and it must be constantly grasped and long-term. Party organizations at all levels should take this summary as a new starting point, use the Party’s discipline learning and education to summarize good experiences and practices, promote the normalization and long-term effectiveness of the Party’s discipline education, and further temper the political character of absolute loyalty to the Party; they should use this summary as a “pressure pump” to continue to unswervingly promote comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, adhere to the “strict” tone to deepen the rectification of work style, discipline and anti-corruption, and further build a strong ideological defense line against corruption and change; they should use this summary as a booster to continue to clearly establish the correct orientation of selecting and employing people, constantly improve the incentive mechanism for cadres to take responsibility, and further boost the passion and vitality of doing things and starting businesses.

The meeting required that party organizations at all levels should thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions, implement the Party Central Committee’s “Opinions on Promoting the Regularization and Long-term Effectiveness of Party Discipline Learning and Education”, insist on integrating it into daily life and taking it seriously on a regular basis, promote school party building to a new level through high-quality discipline construction, and continuously transform the results of party discipline learning and education into a powerful driving force for promoting the high-quality development of the school.
