Welcome to the Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, for your happy study and life, you are advised to read the following important notices:
一）所有学生入境后，须按规定办理住宿登记：
Upon arrival to a destination within China，all students(including foreigner and residents of Hong Kong、Macau and Taiwan )shall complete registration procedures pursuant to the relevant provisions：
1. 在学校公寓住宿的，须于抵达学校24小时内向相关老师办理住宿登记；
1) Those who stay at school apartment shall present valid passport or residence certificates and complete lodging registration procedures with the related teacher within 24 hours of arrival.
2.在学校以外场所住宿的，留宿人或住宿人须于抵达住宿地24小时内向住宿地公安派出所办理住宿登记；
2) Those who stay at a place off the school apartment，the host or the student him/herself shall，within 24 hours of lodger’s arrival, go through lodging registration procedures with the local police station.
3.已办理居留许可的常住人员，离开常住住所到其他地方住宿或出境后返回原居住地，应按上述规定办理住宿登记。
3)Those who have got the residence permit in China, wish to lodge temporarily elsewhere rather than their own residence or return to the current residence from travelling abroad，shall register accommodation as above.
二）未取得就业类居留许可和来中国留学的学生，未经中国政府主管机关允许不得在中国就业。
Those who have not acquired residence permit for working or who are on a study program in China shall not be employed in China without permission of the Chinese Government.
三）根据法律规定，欲在中国驾驶车辆者，必须先考取我国驾照，并遵守我国道路交通安全管理法的规定。
According to the law, those who wish to drive in China shall get the Chinese Driver Licenses and comply with the Law on Road Traffic Safety.
四）前往不对外开放的市县旅行，须向所在市、县公安局申请旅行证，获准后方可前往；未经允许不得进入不对外开放的场所。
Those who wish to travel to areas not opening to aliens need to apply in advance for a travel permit from the Public Security Bureau.
五）处罚（Punishment）
1.非法居留者，可以处警告或者每非法居留一日，处500元罚款，总额不超过5000元，或者处3日以上、10日以下的拘留；情节严重的，并处限期出境。
1)Those who illegally stay in China may be served a warning, fined 500 yuan (RMB) per day for the period of his/her illegal stay in China with the total sum of fine not exceeding 5,000 yuan (RMB), or detained from 3-10 days. Those whose offenses are serious may at the same time be ordered to leave the country within a specified time.
2.对未经中华人民共和国劳动部或者其授权的部门批准私自谋职者，在终止其任职或者就业的同时，可以处1000元以下的罚款；情节严重的，并处限期出境。
2)Those who found employment without permission from the Ministry of Labor of the People’s Republic of China or its authorized departments shall have their posts or employment terminated and may at the same time be fined up to 1,000 yuan (RMB), and those whose offenses are serious may at the same time be ordered to leave the country within a specified time.
3.不办理住宿登记者，可以处警告或者50元以上、500元以下的罚款。
3)Those who is held responsible for failing to register accommodation may be served a warning or fined from 50 to 500 yuan.
4.未经批准前往不对开放地区旅行者，可以处警告或者500元以下的罚款；情节严重的，并处限期出境。
4)Those who travel to areas closed to aliens without prior permission may be served a warning or fined up to 500 yuan (RMB), and those whose offenses are serious may at the same time be ordered to leave the country within a specified time.
